Plymouth Township Approves Group Home Ordinance

In a special hearing held on Monday, December 14, 2020, at 6:30p Plymouth Council approved the final version of the Group Living Ordinance. This was originally proposed a few months ago and was met with opposition by local residents, not because it was opposed, but as first written, many residents felt it to be discriminatory in nature as it strictly limited the areas within the Township where future group homes could be located.

After many revisions and workshops, the final version was agreed upon.
