Plymouth Council: Bandish Wants to Protect Already Protected Land
The campaign for Plymouth Council Ward 4 candidate Kathy Bandish issued a flyer recently which proclaimed she would "Preserve open space and maintain the Maple Acres Farm as a protected area." While that sounds great, the problem is the farm has already been protected thanks to money from the State, County, and Township used to fund the almost $1M grant. It was a long process that took years to accomplish.
The preservation of this land, the only working farm still located in Plymouth Township, was well-publicized. Here is the link to the story on 6ABC.
