Negotiations to Find a Buyer Fail, Sonic East Norriton has Closed.
Sonic East Norriton sits shuttered on 12/26/2020

The Franchise owners who operated 10 Sonic drive-thru locations across PA have been forced to shutter all locations after is failed to secure a buyer before their trademark permission expired with Sonic.

The location in East Norriton located at 2901 Swede Rd, Norristown, PA 19401 has been permanently closed, the windows are now draped in blue tarps and all Sonic signs are wrapped in black plastic. There is no word on the future of this location or if Sonic will attempt to locate a new operator.

Sonic is owned by Inspire Brands, a company formed in February 2018 when Arby's completed its acquisition of Buffalo Wild Wings. Inspire Brands also owns Dunkin, Baskin Robbins, and Jimmy John's. Maybe we can move Dunkin from across the street so they can have a drive-thru! Who is with me?
