The long-standing memorial bench located outside of Capp's Deli was stolen and the Owners are seeking its return. Located at 1071 Colwell Lane, the deli has been a fixture in Conshohocken dating back to the 1960s. The memorial bench sits in memory of a former owner's good friend who was also a well-known resident in the community named Joey Gaga and pre-dates current Owner Andy Silvestrini.
Pictured below the bench is a 2-person bench (pre-COVID) with a small memorial plaque which reads - IN MEMORY OF JOEY GAGA.
Capp's deli was featured on CBS3 when they were included in a story at the beginning of the COVID shutdowns in March, you can watch the video here.
The owners of Capp's are seeking the return of the stolen bench with no questions asked.
