PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA - On Tuesday, August 3, 2021, Plymouth Township Police responding to an initial call of an armed suspect, which was upgraded to a stabbing call at the Plymouth Gardens Apartment Complex located at 1300 Fayette Street in Conshohocken. The call came out around 11:30 pm.
Officers arrived and were confronted by a yet unidentified 22-year-old man who appeared to have a gun according to the D.A. A nearby female was noticed to be suffering from stab wounds. According to the D.A., the male did not comply with Officers' orders and was shot when he pointed his gun at them. The male was transported to Suburban Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:34 am. The stabbed female was identified as the 22-year-old's mother, she is in stable condition according to the DA.
As per protocol, the incident is under investigation by the Montgomery Country Detectives Unit. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call them at 610-278-3368.
