Today it was announced the Walmart located at 53 Germantown Pike in East Norriton will be closing. The liquidation sale is set to begin tomorrow. The Pharmacy will close in 2 weeks (October 9) and the store will follow in 4 weeks ( October 23). Customers who get their prescriptions are asked to identify your new pharmacy and inform Walmart ASAP so they can transfer your files for you. The next closest Walmart is located in Audobon at 650 S Trooper Rd, Norristown, PA 19403.
UPDATE: According to sources, Walmart was unable to come to an agreement with the landlord due to increased rents. Plans to build a Super Center at that site have been called off and the store will permanently close. This could change once the store is closed and the
