PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA - On Monday, September 6, 2021, many local residents reported seeing 2 fighter jets in and around the Plymouth, Conshohocken area. We now know those jets were intercepting an aircraft that was violating restricted air space. Allegedly there were two separate incidents, one plane was forced to land in Brandywine and the other at Wings Field. The temporary restrictions were in connection to Presidential activity in the general area. According to one Facebook user, the plane that landed at Wings was a Cessna.
According to the YouTube recording below the jets attempted to contact the pilot on numerous frequencies. As you listen you can hear clear instructions for the pilot to immediately turn around and exit the restricted area.
