PLYMOUTH MEETING, PA - Construction fencing has been placed around the vacant lot located next to the Wawa on Ridge Pike in Plymouth Meeting.
Wawa is expanding its parking lot to better accommodate the overwhelming number of cars their store generates. Below is a schematic of what it will look like when complete. These changes were discussed in a Zoning Board hearing several months ago.
The small additional parking is designed to handle larger vehicles and improve traffic flow with 1 directional traffic and angled parking. There will also be increased pedestrian safety with a completed sidewalk and improved landscaping to finish the site build-out. The changes have been approved by Plymouth Township.
