Local True Value Sold to Small Family-Owned Chain Based in New England

BLUE BELL, PA - Aubuchon Hardware a small family-operated chain of hardware stores has purchased the True Value in Blue Bell which is owned and operated by Delray along with three other stores that are owned by the operating company.

True Value opened in Blue Bell in the summer of 2020 adding to Delray's portfolio of stores in Doylestown, Richboro, and New Hope. The True Value team was one of the first sponsors of PlymouthPulse and have been active members of the community since their launch. Located in the Shops at Blue Bell at 1726 Dekalb Pike along with GIANT and Frank's Pizza this small community hardware store has been the perfect addition to the community.

According to the Press Release on HBSDealer.com "The most important thing you’ll find at the Delray Plus family of stores is a passion for delivering service and building relationships,” said William E. Aubuchon, IV, President & CEO of Westminster, Mass.-based Aubuchon, described as the oldest and largest family-owned hardware store chain in America.

Aubuchon Hardware will now operate 107 small community hardware stores across 8 states from New England to Virginia.

Chad Flood, one of Delray's Owners stated to us, "Everything is expected to stay under the True Value name, at least for the short term. They are the perfect fit for this community and that was important to us. We will be here until December 31 when the sale goes through"
