In The Area: Fish Native to Gulph of Mexico Found In Local Township Pond

Today, via their Facebook page, Radnor Township Police shared the story of a fish that was recently found in a township pond. The fish, a Alligator Gar fish, is native to the Gulph of Mexico and was located deceased in the pond at Fenimore Park. This fish, according to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission could not sustain in such cold temperatures.


Radnor Police reminded residents if you have a rare pet you need help re-homing please contact them for proper resources.
