A pesky squirrel once again took Wissahickion Public Library in Blue Bell offline and forced them to close Monday morning as PECO makes the necessary repairs. The Squirrel chewed through the electrical lines causing the outage. This is the second time in recent weeks this has happened. The Libary was closed on November 20, 2019, for several hours while PECO repaired the lines after that incident.
Repairs are expected to wrap-up shortly but if you have plans on going to the library today, please check their Facebook page for updates before going.
There is no word on what flavor their lines are or how many more relatives of the squirrels are left to tempt fate again.
UPDATE: Power was restored just before noon and normal business operations have resumed!
