As part of the building of the Center Square Commons Shopping center, a new firehouse was built further back on the land. The old firehouse has been razed, but what is happening with the land? Currently nothing, but there is a plan.
According to the site's Broker MSC Retail, the land of the former firehouse will become another entrance into the shopping center allowing for easier access while directing traffic toward Anthony's and the center of the center. The new driveway, pictured below, will allow two-way traffic and align with the entrance into the competing shopping center across the street.
The small house in the top left corner of the above-pictured plot of land is also currently for commercial rent.
