Mermaid Lake, which is located at 1002 Jolly Road Blue Bell, PA 19422 held a 1-day online auction of various pieces. This auction is listed as a "Recreational Facility Closing."
Mermaid Lake was sold this year to the developer Metropolitan Development Group. As first reported in June, the developer paid $3.2 million dollars for the 62-acre piece of land with plans to build 52 single homes on it.
Whitpain Township has also expressed interest in purchasing some or all of the land for recreational use.
