Construction Begins on Former East Norriton Walmart

A temporary construction fence has been erected around the former Walmart in East Norriton and equipment is now on site. The former retail location will now become an Amazon Distribution Center. Similar to what is currently under construction in Plymouth this distribution center will service the local area. No word on when construction will be completed but the location should open later this year.

This will make two new locations for Amazon in our area as construction is also underway on the former 7Up location at 1103 Ridge Pike, link to our previous story on this topic can be found below.
